When someone sends a SMS message that contains a smiley, diafaan receives the following message from the Hypermedia SMS Pro Gateway:
2013/06/24 12:50:28.512 < {"direction": "in", "notification": "cdr", "port_num": "1", "number": "+31612977392", "datetime": "2013-06-24 12:50:06", "unicode": "8", "card_add": "21", "message": "Test3 \ud83d\ude35"}
This results in the following error being logged by Diafaan:
A valid UTF32 value is between 0x000000 and 0x10ffff, inclusive, and should not include surrogate codepoint values (0x00d800 ~ 0x00dfff).
Parameter name: utf32
The message is not logged as a received message. Switching the message type from automatic to Unicode does not help.
