Diafaan SMS Server does not have a function to hide the message text in the send log.

There is a hack you can use to do this directly in the log database but this requires advanced SQL database knowledge. Diafaan SMS Server uses an SQLite database and SQLite supports triggers on the database table. If you know how to use triggers, you can use an SQL management program for SQLite to add a trigger to the MessageLog.sqlite database in the 'C:\ProgramData\Diafaan\Diafaan Message Server\' folder that removes the message text from all messages that are added to the MessageOut table.

If you do not need the send log you can also set the 'Limit to ... send log items' to 0 on the 'Logging' page of the general options (Actions-Options-Logging).

Regards, Henk

Hi Henk,
Thanks for the reply. Got it working by setting up the email connector in Diafaan Server.
The fortigate sends the sms via an email2sms and once the email connector is set up, everything works perfectly.
Can you mask the Authentication Code in the Send Log file in the Email Connector ?

Kim

Hello Kwhy,

Do you use email to forward the token from the Fortigate firewall to Diafaan SMS Server or do you use another protocol like HTTP?

I am not familiar with the Fortigate firewall and I do not know for certain if it is possible to use the firewall with Diafaan SMS Server for two factor authentication.

Regards, Henk

Hi All,
I currently testing Diafaan Server. We can send Sms from the new gateway Ok. But having issues to make it send 2 FA from the fortigate firewall.
The logs on the firewall says :
Send two-factor authentication token code 3****8 to 047****318@192.168.60.35.

How do we make the new SMS server ( on ip 192.168.60.35) respond ?

Regards

Kim
