Hello Sarfaraz,
The send time is the time when the confirmation is received from the SMPP server that the message is accepted (sm_submit_resp), this is the time on the local server where Diafaan SMS Server runs.
The receive time is the "done date" on the receipt, since this time is generated on the SMPP server or on another SMS server downstream there might be a time difference if the SMPP server time is not synced properly or when it is in a different time zone.
For your information, we found a bug in the handling of long multipart messages in the SMPP Gateway and we will publish an update (version 2.1.3.0) later today. The new version also handles asynchronous mode better and appears to be faster than previous versions.
The new version also has a new feature to handle the receipt as a received message instead of an update to the send log, you could use this to match the receipt with the message manually and set the receive and/or send time to your preferences.

Hello Henk,
We are almost through with the testing and its working fine. We are facing the issue of Sent and Received time. Can you please let us know which sent and received time is Diafaan SMS Server using. As when we see the communication logs the submit and received time sent by the SMSC is different from the submit and received time stored in the MessageLog. This creates a time differences and user think the message took 30 sec to deliver whereas the message was delivered in 7 to 10 secs.
Can you please help us to store the time sent by the SMSC.
Have a great day ahead!!!
