as it's not possible to pause, how to resend failed messages easily? I will have tens of thousands of failed messages.

Yes, message wait in the send queue until the gateway is able to send messages again after the quiet hours.

Hello Tom,
There is no option in Diafaan SMS Server to pause the send queue when messages fail in a certain pattern. It is often not clear that a GSM modem or SMPP server is not usable until you send a new message to check it, so a function like this would be hard to implement.
The GSM Modem Gateway and the SMPP Gateway have a 'SendLimit' option to limit the amount of messages that is sent with a specific gateway to a fixed amount per hour, day, week or month. When that number is reached, the gateway pauses and the messages wait in the send queue until the next hour, day, week or month or until the send limit is manually reset. Perhaps this is something that you can use in your situation.

can we suspend/pause messages in "send queue"? we need this in case of all gateways are failed. we don't want the messages to keep retrying and it is difficult to resend them later. we need to resend 500 each times
if possible, the messages can be resent automatically when gateways are ready
