Hello Josh,

The SQL Connector monitors the MessageOut table of the database, sends each record in this table out as an SMS message and removes the record. If you want to send a message based on a trigger or a view, the database must write a record to the MessageOut table so that Diafaan SMS Server can pick it up.

If the database, or an external database program, is not able to write a record to the MessageOut table, you could also use a Scripting Connector with a customized script to check the database and send a message when the database threshold occurs.

Regards, Henk

Hello, we currently have Diafaan and are looking to utilize the SQL connector, the thing we are trying to do is when a certain threshold occurs on another SQL Database we need a way for SQL Connector to send a message to whomever it concerns.

What would be the best way to perform this function?

Do you have any examples of how we could perform this?

Is it possible to create a body of text that is unique based on what comes from this view or trigger?

I have gone over the documentation as an overview but was hoping for a clearer example if possible.

Thank you!
