I think this feature need to added to diafaan based of created time if more than n time (in second or minute) it Will send with some gateway. I hope it be implemented in diafaan.

Diafaan SMS Server does not use the validity period internally, it will not remove the messages from the send queue in Diafaan SMS Server when the validity period expires.

The validity period parameter is sent with the message to the mobile operator (with the GSM Modem Gateway and the SMPP Gateway), the mobile operator can use it to determine how long the message stays in the SMSC for delivery to the mobile phone.

1. does it specify the validity period of sent message?
2 can i specify the validity of period of a message so that the pending mesasge will be removed from the queue? the message won't be sent out from diafaan.
