This is the normal behavior, the SQL Connector reads the messages from the MessagOut table and removes them from the database when they are imported in Diafaan SMS Server. You won't see the messages unless you look in the database just before the SQL Connector picks them up.
It is also possible to leave the messages in the MessageOut table and let the SQL Connector set a flag to indicate that the message was read. This is not the preferred method because it can lead to low performance when the database table is getting too large.
We have been using this for a while and utilizing the SQL connector with an small application written in Visual FoxPro. we haven't had any issues. However, a month or so ago we upgraded our SQL server from 2000 to 2008. I had re-created the connector and it has been working fine.
However, I just noticed that the records in the messageout table are not being created but my messages are going out fine. I can see records are being added in the messagein and messagelog tables but not the messageout. I renamed the messageout table from within the database just to be sure I was pointing to the correct database. By renaming the table, my messages were not sent out via the gateway. So I simply renamed it back to the original name and it is working fine. My only concern is why are the records not created in the messageout table but my messages are still going through fine.
