Hi Henk,
Thank you very much, that information helped us a lot.
Sincerely
Peter
Hello Peter,
When two users both send a message to the same GSM number, only the sender of the last message will receive the reply. In your example that would be person B.
Unfortunately, in the SMS system there is no way to see that the response is a reply to a specific message and therefore it is not possible for Diafaan SMS Server to detect that the message was intended for user A.

Hello,
we have a question regarding the SMS2EMail functionality of Diafaan SMS Gateway.
The documentation says
[... If no email address is found in the SMS message and there is a GSM number match from a previous email message, the email is sent as a reply to the original email message. ...]
We found out this would work in case person A sends an email to GSM number 1234. When the number 1234 responds, diafaan matches this response to the email of person A and sends an email back to person A.
Using the documentation we couldn't find out what will happen in the following scenario:
Person A sends an email to GSM number 1234.
Then person B sends an email to GSM number 1234.
GSM number 1234 responds (intentionally to person A).
How will diafaan's match look like? Is it possible for GSM number 1234 to respond to person A in this scenario?
Sincerely
Peter Neubauer
