Hello Alain,
SMS messages that are sent with a GSM modem or mobile phone always have the phone number of the SIM card as the sender address. The 'FromAddress' field is therefore not used for messages that are sent with the GSM Modem Gateway.
The only way to send a message with an alternative sender address is to use an Internet based SMS service like Clickatell or an SMS service that uses the SMPP protocol.

Hi,
We are using Diafaan SMS Server to send SMS for our partners.
It works fine.
Now they wants the final clients to see partner's name (sender name) instead of server SIM card number.
We tried to set "fromAddress" field, but final clients still receive only the number.
Do you know a way to acheive that ?
Thanks.
Alain.
