If I understand you correctly, you do not use Diafaan SMS Server to send the messages but a C# .NET library from another source? If that is the case then I am not able to answer you questions, this forum is only intended for questions related to Diafaan SMS Server.

Have you tried to contact the publisher of the SMPP library you use?

Regards, Henk

Hello John,

Diafaan SMS Server automatically splits long messages in multiple message parts. This method of sending long SMS messages is supported by all SMPP servers that I know of.

Diafaan SMS Server can also send all message with the 'message_payload' TLV, long messages are then sent in one message instead of multiple message parts. Not all SMPP servers accept long messages in the message_payload and it is only available with SMPP versions 3.4 and 5.0.

To send all messages with the 'message_payload' TLV instead of the 'short_message' parameter, open the SMPP Gateway properties, select 'Advanced' and set the 'UsePayloadTLV' property to 'True'.

Regards, Henk
