The most likely reason that Diafaan SMS Server does not update the status of messages that are sent with the SMPP Gateway is that the message ID format setting is not set to the right format in the SMPP Gateway. The SMPP protocol is not entirely unambiguous about the message ID format in the delivery reports and SMPP services have implemented it in different ways.

You can change the message ID format that Diafaan SMS Server expects from your SMPP server with the 'MessageIdFormat' property in the advanced settings of the SMPP Gateway. The default is 'Hexadecimal', for your SMPP server you probably have to set it to 'Numeric'.

How can we get the status of sent SMS when using SMPP gateway. We had status for sent SMS when we used GSM gataway in send log (delivered, not delivered). Now when we use SMPP service we only have status that SMS has been sent. We contacted our SMPP provider and they are delivering back delevery reports but status is not changing in Send log. We recieve SMS from them but we need to see it in Send log Status.
