Hello Henk,
it will be perfect if you can send us that plugin , as we already did the Diafaan status page with ajax to get the live and real time status , so if you add that text it will be perfect , we will wait your plugin .
Many thanks
Adam
At the moment Diafaan SMS Server does not offer a way to show the current list of logged in users for an SMPP Connector. We could add a simple text field to the statistics of the SMPP Connectors with a list of the logged in users and IP numbers. You can then view this information with the 'request-server-status' HTTP API call of the Web Connector.
If you are interested in this solution please let me know and I will send you a plugin for the SMPP Connector with this feature.

Hello Henk,
Thank you so much for the changes , a huge improvement in the performance , its realy 100% time better now .
Another question for the smpp connector is there anyway which we can know the current logged in users or the current connected users or them sessions ?
thank you
We have made a few changes to the database handling of the Web Connector to make it a little bit more efficient. I am not sure that it will be enough in your configuration to get the response time of the HTTP API call down sufficiently, but I will email you a plugin for the Web Connector so that you can test it out yourself.
If the response time is still too high with the plugin than the only solution might be to add an option not to store the messages in the database at all. But that will means that it will not be possible to get the send status of a message with an API call anymore.

Hello Henk,
Its not good news , as we already put Diafaan in live production and its running all our traffic , but this issue really decrease the performance in very bad way , its really big bug in the software.
Do let me know how we can do housekeeping for the SQLLITE database until you can find a solution for that, we have tried to clear the Send Log from Clear menu but the connector DB still same size , give us a way to either disable the database or just if we can delete it and copy a new one i will let my staff do that everyday , btw the issue rise even if the DB size only 1mb , and we have set the send log limit to 100 .
Please give us any temporary solution to clean the DB without removing and adding again the connector
Thank you
I have done some tests with the configuration you have sent me and the main reason for the slow performance seems to be that the Web Connector does some database transactions for each HTTP API call. This database is located in folder 'C:\ProgramData\Diafaan\Diafaan Message Server\ModuleData\Connector.X', where X is the connector ID. When this database gets larger, the performance goes down and each API call takes longer. Ideally the database size should not be larger than 10MB or so, and the smaller the better.
There is not much you can do about this except keeping the maximum number of send records at the default number of 1000 or lower, you have now set it to 100000 for some of the Web Connectors in your configuration. We will have a look to see if this process can be made more efficient in the next version of Diafaan SMS Server.

Hello Henk
We have emailed you the configuration filer please check and advise.

Can you send me the configuration file of Diafaan SMS Server? You can save the configuration with menu options 'File-Export-Configuration' and send it to email address dms@diafaan.com.

Hello Henk,
Thank you we got the email , we will download the plugin and test it.
Another thing we have noticed strange behavior for the web connector .
After we sent for example 500 or 1000 SMS through the Web Connector the response time will become more higher like 600 ms per submission at the same time for this web connector we use only anonymous verification and no http call back.
And if we removed the web connector and again we add it the response time will become less and very good speed like 300 ms per submission ?
We have tried to removed and clear the log and restart Diafaan software but still same issue unless we again removed the connector and we add it again!
Could check that looks like the web connector got issue

Thanks Adam. We have been able to replicate the problem and find a solution for it. I will email you a link to a plugin for the SMPP Connector with a fix for the problem.

Hello Adam,
I can't find your email address in our license database, can you give me the serial number or purchase order number of your license so that I can add your email address to our license database for future support requests?

Hello Henk
This is Adam.
when we use SSL to the SMPP connector ,diafaan not counting the clients connections , means if we set in the connector properties that the max user connection is 2 still the user can open 4 and 5 and more connection the smpp connector .
If we removed the SLL certificate from the connector properties it will work fine.
Please check and advise.
Regards
Adam
