Hello Sarfaraz,

The default settings of the SMPP Connector offers the fastest possible message throughput for outbound messages. It is possible to decrease the send speed with the 'MaxMessagesPerMinute' setting but it is not possible to increase the default send speed. We do not guarantee a specific message speed for Diafaan SMS Server but a total message throughput of 100 messages per second for the SMPP Connector should not be a problem.

It is possible that the settings of the SMPP client is limiting the send speed, sending messages in asynchronous windowing mode is faster than synchronous operation because the SMPP client does not have to wait for the SMPP response before sending the next message.

Using HTTP callbacks can have a very strong impact on the message throughput. You can see the process time for every HTTP callback in the communication log of the SMPP Connector to find out the effect on the message speed.

Hello Henk,

Hope you are doing well.

We have one SMPP Connector user is connected with 10 session to Diafaan SMS server on a particular port no. They are pushing messages from all the session but they are not able to submit more than 10 to 20 messages per sec. Can you please let us know what can be done so they can submit upto a 100 messages per sec.

Also we have kept the MaxMessagesPerMinute to 0.

Do let us know how can we achieve this.

Thanks & Regards
