Hello Jak,
The RUT240 LTE modem does not offer direct access to the AT commandline interface of the modem and cannot be used with the light edition of Diafaan SMS Server.
This modem has an SMPP interface for SMS messaging and this can be used with the basic- and full editions of Diafaan SMS Server to send and receive SMS messages. However, the SMPP interface in the Teltonika modems is limited and does not support all options that are available in SMS (and in full implementations of the SMPP protocol).
If you have the modem available you should test it out with Diafaan SMS Server thoroughly before buying a license to make sure that the modem supports all the SMS options that you need.

Hello,
Is Diafaan compatible for sending and receiving SMS with the Teltonika RUT240 LTE (4G) modem?
Hello Filip,
The status: 200, Success: Message accepted by the SMPP gateway means that the Teltonika TRB140 has accepted the message for delivery. After this, it is up to the Teltonika TRB140 to send the message.
Unfortunately the SMPP implementation of the Teltonika modems is incomplete. Among other things, it does not support delivery reports and that means that Diafaan SMS Server does not receive an update if the Teltonika TRB140 is not able to send the message. We have tested SMPP with the Teltonika RUT240 and sending messages worked fine but the SMPP implementation missed important SMPP functionality like delivery reports and inbound messages.
There could be a number of reasons why the Teltonika TRB140 does not send the message, one possibility is that the number format of the destination number is not recognized as a valid destination number. But there could also be something in the settings of the Teltonika TRB140 that blocks the messages.

I have created a SMPP gateway and connect to a Teltonika TRB140 with a SMPP package installed.
Diafaan connects and when I send some messages I get status: 200, Success: Message accepted by the SMPP gateway. Nothing comes through though.
I can send and recieve directly from the Teltonika web interface. Diafaan works fine with a normal GSM Modem Gateway.
Anyone that have any experience with Teltonika and SMPP? Can I use a normal SIM card?
Regards Filip
