Diafaan SMS Server does not have an option to remove messages automatically from the message queue when there are still active gateways that can send the message. When the message limit for a GSM Modem Gateway is reached the gateway is only paused, not stopped, and the gateway is still regarded as active. When the limit period for the gateway is over, or if there are other gateways available, the remaining messages will be sent normally.
The best way to prevent spam is to block the messages before they are added to the Diafaan SMS Server send queue. A good option is to use HTTP callbacks in combination with a C# script to block the message when it enters one of the connectors. With a suitable script, the HTTP callbacks can filter on a specific message text but you can also use a counter to block messages after a certain number of messages.
currently, any messages exceeding the limit will be resent after the hour/day.
how can i kill those waiting messages automatically? i want to limit messages per hour/day for fighting spam messages
