Hello Joakim,

This is not possible with mobile modems. A wireless modem or phone always uses the number attached to the SIM card as the sender ID. If you want to send messages with an alternative sender ID then you have to use an Internet based SMS service provider that supports this option.

Hello,

Is it possible to add a name so that when the recipient se the message in the phone, it shows a name instead of the number?

Or is this not supported on mobile modems? Is there any modems that is supporting this?
