Hello Brian,

The Web Connector in Diafaan SMS Server has a built-in HTTP API that you can use to send SMS messages from a browser or from another source.

The HTTP callback feature in Diafaan SMS Server is not intended to send messages with an HTTP call but has another function. Diafaan SMS Server can send an HTTP call to an external web server for every message that is sent with each connector. A PHP or ASP.NET script on the external web server can use this HTTP call to perform user accounting functions and (optionally) change the message parameters. HTTP callbacks are an advanced feature and it should only be enabled when you absolutely need it.

Regards, Henk

Hi Henry,

I am still having problems sending and receiving SMS from my PHP Webscript. From the docs, it says that the http call backs are sent from each connector, but I want to be able to trigger Difaan SMS server to send an SMS via a uRL.

When I try entering this in my browser: http://localhost/sms/http-callback.php?source=SMPP&action=message_out&user_id=admin&from=%2B255628010051&to=%2B255626000333&message=Hallo

It returns result=1, but a message is not sent. Please help.
