Hi Henk, I found out what my problem was, I installed the Diafaan server on a separate machine than where the database is installed and that machine was 1 hour ahead therefore my 15 seconds of delay was not working because for the server that had the Diafaan both messages where 1 hour past due their sending. I fixed the time and it is now working perfect.
Thank you for your quick response
Please check if you have added the name of the database field ('Scheduled') in the SMSOutScheduled property of the Advanced settings of the SQL Connector. If that is the case, it should work.
The SQL Connector reads only those records where the value of the Scheduled field is smaller than the current date. It might not work for some databases or some date/time functions (we tested with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server). If you still have problems, please send the Configuration file to dms at diafaan dot com and I will have a look at it. (Select File-Export-Configuration to save the configuration to file).
Hello, my name and I am evaluating your product and so far after a few installation and configuration bumps I got it working and it works great. the only thing I have not been able to do is to schedule a SMS message. I am using the SQL Connector.
I add two messages at the same time but I want the first message to be sent immediately and the second message 15 seconds later. I put in the "Scheduled" field on the MessageOut table get date() on the first message and then on the second I put "DATEADD(SECOND,15,GETDATE())" on the "Scheduled" field so that it is schedule to be sent 15 seconds later but both messages are sent at the same time, immediately. what else do I need to do to use the Schedule feature.
Thank you for your assistance.
