Hello Sarfaraz,

In the standard message routing options that Diafaan SMS Server uses to route the messages from a Connector to one or more Gateways, you can only use the 'Message Type' or 'To address' of the message. There is no option to route the messages according to their 'From address'.

To change the routing for a specific Connector, open the Connector settings and select 'Gateways'. For each Gateway you can set the option 'Only for To Address' or 'Only for Message Type' to specify for which 'To Address' or 'Message Type' the gateway will be used.

If you want to change the routing dependent on the 'From Address', you have three options:

1. Use a Scripting Gateway and a small custom script to route the messages. This is probably the easiest option but this method is slow and is therefore not suitable for larger amounts of messages.

2. If you use the SQL Connector or the Web Connector with the HTTP API, you can specify a list of gateways for each individual message in the 'Gateway' field. Of course this will only work if you control how the messages are added to the SQL database or HTTP API.

3. You can also use the 'HTTP Callback' option to set the 'Gateway' field for each individual message with an external PHP script. This can be a script on an external web server but in the latest version of Diafaan SMS Server, you can also use a locally installed instance of PHP (php-cgi.exe).

For more information about the routing options in Diafaan SMS Server, see the section How to...Route messages in the online manual.

Regards, Henk

Hello Henk,

Hope you are good, we have a queries like toaddress in the connector can be also have fromaddress so for example the messages are sent with ABC Sender it should go with gateway1 and if in fromaddress is set to XYZ then it should go from gateway2 and we can set it with comma separate if with have more sender Names.

Hope you have understood the query.

Thanks & have a great day!!!
Sarfaraz.
