Hello Emman,
By default, Diafaan SMS Server will try to send the message three times before it is considered as failed. The maximum number of send attempts for each gateway can be changed in the "Gateways" section of the Connector properties.
If only 5 out 50 messages are successful there is definitely something wrong with the mobile connection between the GSM modem and the network. The signal quality could be very bad or the capacity of the network cell that the GSM modem uses might be insufficient. It is also possible that the GSM service provider rejects messages when a certain threshold is reached or if the messages are sent too fast after each other. The GSM Modem Gateway has an advanced option "SendDelayTime" that can be used to slow down message sending.
Resending messages can be done from the send log of Diafaan SMS Server (select and right-click) or individually from the Web Application.

My client is testing the Diafaan SMS. They are installed on a Windows 8 PC, the modem used is a USB Huawei 160 or lower. They sent out a message to a group. Out of 50 messages only about 5 were successful, according to the log file. Am I correct that failed messages will be resent a certain number of times resending is set? Supposed that it did not resend the failed messages, how do you resend the message to the group again?
