Thank you for the communication log.

The log indicates that the modem is not registered to a mobile network and that it is not searching for another network to register to. At the same time the modem reports that it sees the 'Proximus' network and that the signal strength of this network is good. So this is a bit of a mixed message.

It is possible that the modem reports the status wrong, some modems return a wrong registration status when they are connector to a 4G or LTE mobile network, but another explanation could be that the network rejects the SIM card and that it does not allow the modem to register to the mobile network.

Dear Henk,

I draw the same conclusion and replaced 1 SIM card with one from another provider. This modem is working back. After contact with Proximus I am still waiting for feedback, but the lady on the line already saw a problem, without giving further details. So it doesn't seem to be a problem with the software, nevertheless thanks for the feedback.

Hello Johan,

The error message (Requested facility not subscribed) indicates that a requested service (probably SMS) is not enabled on the network for the SIM card.

The most likely explanation for this error is that the SIM card is blocked for SMS messages by the mobile operator. Another possibility is that something has changed in the mobile network, for instance when the 2G network is switched off and that the modem is not able to send the messages with another network.

You can try if the SIM card works in a normal phone, if SMS works on a phone then at least you know that there is no SMS block for the SIM card.

If you send me the communication log for the modem, I can have a look to see if there is something wrong with the connection of the modem with the mobile network. You can send the log to dms@diafaan.com.

Starting yesterday, we have the following errors on both connected LAN modems (GSM nrs are blanked out) :
