There are hundreds of things that can go wrong with Windows or Diafaan SMS Server or with the GSM modems or online SMS services. Every problem requires its own solution and it is unfeasible to give guidelines for every problem that can occur.

In general, you should have a backup of the license file and of the Diafaan SMS Server installer that you are running so that you can re-install Diafaan SMS Server in case of a server crash. It is also a good idea to regularly make a backup of the data folder of Diafaan SMS Server (c:\ProgramData\Diafaan\Diafaan Message Server\). This folder contains all settings of Diafaan SMS Server and the backup can be used to revert back to a previous configuration or to transfer the settings to a new server.
