Getting a pool of 32 modems working without problems will always be a challenge, especially when they are located in the same location. There are usually always at least a couple of modems that have problems maintaining a reliable connection to the network.

You can look at modem pools like this one or at modems with a LAN connection like the <a href="https://www.diafaan.com/reviews/coniugo-lan-modem/"ConiuGo LAN modem or the Gemalto LAN modem. LAN modems have the advantage that they can be installed in different locations in the network and the interference between modems will be less. But they are more expensive than USB or serial port modems.

Hello Luã,

It is possible that this problem is caused by the USB hub or by the Huawei modems themselves. USB 'dongle' modems are not intended to be used with multiple dongles on one computer and this can lead to problems.

There is not much Diafaan SMS Server can do to prevent this problem, the only thing you can try is to change the value of the 'RebootBeforeInitialization' property in the advanced settings of the GSM Modem Gateway. This could make the problem better or worse, there is no way to be sure in advance.

Regards, Henk
