QuoteCMS error 512 usually means that the modem encountered a communication error with the mobile network and could not send the message. If the error is rare then it is no cause for concern but if the error happens more than once every 30-50 messages or so, the error may be an indication of an underlying problem between the modem and the network.
The exact reason for this error depends on the situation, but it could be a low network signal quality or an incompatibility between the modem and the mobile network.

Hello everyone,
we are testing the software to decide if we can use it in a Java application for sending SMS (the application send only email for now).
Using the software installed on server, which have a GSM modem attached on COM1, we are not able to send SMS.
We have created a gateway and a connector (HTTP), but when we try to send SMS we often receive message "300, Error: Unknown error after PDU sent. 512, CMS error: MM establishment failure".
At the moment, we don't use our custom application; we are using the software provided as trial and the web application at http://localhost:9710/.
Can anyone give us a little help, please?
