Hi Sharat,

Google requires an encrypted connection to their POP server. Diafaan SMS Server supports encrypted connections but it is not available as an option when you add the Email Connector and you have to enable it after the Email Connector is added.

To enable encryption, edit the Email Connector properties, select the "Advanced" page and set the "POP3UseSSLConnection" property to "True". When you select the "Send SMS" page and click on the Test button it should now return "OK".

I'm using your diafaan sms server trial version. I would like to forward emails to sms. I want some assistance in configuring pop server settings for gmail through GSM gateway. i've already added GSM gateway(Micromedia- Sierra Wireless) to diafaan. Its all working good. I can send manual sms through it. But iam actually after a email-sms solution. Also please let me know if i can forward a particular email to sms. The current settings which i'm using and the error message from diafaan is as below

POP Server: port-995

Password- mypassword

forward to sms number- +61404546333

When i clicked test, the error message is as follows

Connecting to
Connected, localEP=''; remoteEP=''.
Remote host closed connection.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

If everything works, we will buy a full version for 3 years. Waiting for your reply. Thanks in advance.
