The POP client in the Email Connector can only extract the destination phone number of the SMS messages from the To Address, Subject or Message Body. It does not have the functionality to extract the destination phone number from the To Name.
The latest version of Diafaan SMS Server (basic- and full edition only) has an 'HTTP callback' function that can be used to change the destination phone number of each messages and since the 'user_info' field of the HTTP callback of the messages sent from the Email Connector also contains email details like the To Name it is possible to extract the destination number from this information and replace the destination number that Diafaan used for the message.
The HTTP callback function requires an external HTTP server with a script in PHP or ASP.NET. It is also possible to implement the HTTP server in a Scripting Connector internally in Diafaan SMS Server. This script is available in the scripting pack that you can download from the download page. You can find more information about implementing this script here. Using the scripting functionality requires programming experience in C#.

For a typical email address format, for example "user_1234567"(sms@mydomain.com).
The To name is "user_1234567" while the To address is (sms@mydomain.com).
The POP setting extract from field does not support To name selection but only To address.
When sending mail to POP mailbox, diafaan server cannot find number to SMS to.
