Most gateways also have a limit on the number of message parts per message, for the GSM Modem Gateway the default limit is 10 message parts but you can increase that number in the advanced settings of the gateway.

Great thanks. That's sorted. Now I just want to know the maximum number of characters that can be sent in one go using Outlook

Hello Gavin,
The Email Connector uses a template to convert the email to an SMS message. By default, the template only uses the sender address and subject of the email. You can change the template in the 'Send SMS' options of the Email Connector when you click on 'Edit SMS message template'.

Hi there. We are a new customer and have just got Diafaan working. We are sending from Outlook workstation by starting a new email and sending to +44*******@gsm.network
On the phone, only the subject line is received, no text that was in the body of the email
What are we doing wrong please?
