The communication log files for your modem shows that the modem does not send any status updates to Diafaan SMS Server. There can be a number of reasons why the modem does not generate status updates:
- The mobile network does not send status updates to the modem
- The modem does not support status updates
- The connection software of the modem intercepts received messages and status updates
Unfortunately there is no direct way to determine which of these three points is the real reason for the missing status updates. If there is any modem connection software running then it is a good idea to disable it. You can also try the SIM card in a normal phone to see if it generates delivery reports on the phone.

Hello Lani,
The time stamps of the messages have no influence on the status updates, it is always possible that there is a time mismatch between certain time stamps because they can originate from different servers.
There can be two reasons that the status of the messages is not updated. It is possible that Diafaan SMS Server does not receive any status updates from the modem. It is also possible that the destination number format of the status update and the original message does not match, for instance when you use a number in international number format (+44xxxxxxxx) and the modem returns the status update in national number format (0xxxxxxxx).
You can try to change the 'CompatibilityMode' property in the advanced settings of the GSM Modem Gateway from 'Normal' to 'Enhanced' or vice versa. These two mode use a different way to get received messages and status updates from the modem. If that does not work then I would like to see the communication log for one of the modems in both 'Normal' end 'Enhanced' mode. You can send the log to 'dms@diafaan.com'.

Hi, just recently installed a new Diafaan v4.0.0.0 running on Windows Server. This new installation is running with a new set of USB modems as well. We find it odd that we are unable to get status 201 on ALL smses. We observed that some of the send vs. reply timestamp, the reply are few seconds earlier that the send time. While others send vs. reply timestamp are OK, still unable to get 201 status. We confirmed that the time is in sync (UTC+08:00).
We have other diafaans running with TCP/IP modems switch are able to get 201 status with no issues. We are clueless which timestamp got issues or not in synced, which could be causing the issue? I hope you can give some idea or suggestions. Thanks.
