Hello Sarfaraz,

Diafaan SMS Server can only match delivery reports to the original messages when they are received with the same gateway. If you send a message with gateway A and the SMPP service provider returns the delivery report over gateway B, Diafaan SMS Server will not update the status of the message. I think this is happening in your set up.

The SMPP Gateway has an option to handle the delivery report as a normal received message with message type "smpp.receipt". This makes it possible to match a receipt to a previously sent message manually. However, this means that the status of the messages will not be updated at all in the logs of Diafaan SMS Server.

Regards, Henk

Hello Henk,

We try to connect one more SMPP Gateway to the same SMSC with the same login details and found that on doing so the Delivery reports on the first are lost in some cases. For e.g A and B are connected to the same SMSC with same login details. If A gateway shoots 10 messages 4 get the Delivery status 6 are lost. Where as the SMSC is sending reports for all the messages. These delivery confirmation are lost and the message is sent to the SMSC for Receipt confirmation. If we disable the B gateway and then send the messages all the reports are received properly.

Please help us in solving this issue.

Thanks & have a great day ahead!!!
