The SMPPConnector.dll plugin that you use is a 32-bit plugin and it won't work on the 64-bit version of Diafaan SMS Server. The functionality that this plugin provides is already available in the SMPP Connector of version 4.0, it is therefore best to remove the plugin from the plugin folder of Diafaan SMS Server.

The most likely cause for a slow insert of the log items in the SQL database of the SQL Connector is that the MessageLog database table is getting too large. Inserting new messages in the log database is usually not a problem but updating the delivery status of the messages will take longer when the database grows because the query has to look up the record with the right message ID for each status update in order to update the record.

There is little you can do in Diafaan SMS Server that will speed up the database handling, the best way to keep up the performance is not letting the database get too large, for instance by moving older records to a different database. You can also have a look at the indexes of the MessageLog database table. If the indexes are not set to the right field(s) (at least 'MessageID'), looking up the records for the status update will take a lot longer than if the proper fields are indexed.
