It is possible to use a Scripting Connector and create a script that looks up the name of the sender in your database and use this information in a HTTP call or email message.

There is a database query script available in the scripting pack on the download page of our website that you can use as a base for your own script.

Hello Alan,

No, this is not supported. Diafaan SMS Server can only forward the number of the sender of the SMS message to HTTP or email. It is not possible to use the names in the contact list to forward the name of the sender.

I see Diafaan can forward incoming sms but only numbers. Can names be forwarded as well as sender number and if so, how to go about achieving this
