Hello Kev,

You can set the validity in the advanced properties of the Hypermedia SMS PRO Gateway settings. For a validity period of 3 hours, you should set the ValidityPeriod property to '0x23'.

Not all GSM service providers respect the validity period property, some use a default validity period for each message which cannot be changed.

Hi Henk, I am very impressed with your SMS Server software and plan on purchasing a full version in the next week or so. We have a number of Hypermedia gateways and I am a little confused exactly what value I need to add so that the Validity Period expires after a max of 3 hours. Most of the messages we send are time critical, so we don't want messages going out after this period. Please can you help answer my question. Thanks again. Kev.
