The easiest way to generate a self-signed certificate that can be used with Diafaan SMS Server is with Windows PowerShell on Windows 8/Server 2012 or newer. You can find a good description about creating a self-signed certificate here. The Web Connector requires a .pfx certificate file protected with a password.

Hello Henk,

I want to generate self-signed cert, at least for now for testing purposes. I've been trying to generate cert with OpenSSL with diffferent encryption methods etc (all been x509). After I add path and pass to Diafaan, it switches to https:// prefix, BUT I'm unable to load servers page.

Please, what is the correct way to generate certificate, which would work with your server?
