Thank you, it worked fine after updating windows.
Hello Mohamad,
Twilio requires TLS 1.2 encryption for their REST API because older encryption methods are becoming less and less secure. The latest version of Diafaan SMS Server supports TLS 1.2 if the underlying version of Windows and of the .NET framework are recent enough.
The error message suggests that the connection with Twilio uses TLS 1.2 encryption but that TLS 1.2 is not set up correctly on your computer or that the TLS 1.2 implementation is out of date. I am not sure if that is the real cause of the problem but you can try the following steps to see if it makes a difference:
- Check if you have the latest version of Diafaan SMS Server installed.
- Make sure that (only) TLS 1.2 is selected in Diafaan SMS Server (options: 'Actions-Options-Advanced').
- Use the latest version of Windows and make sure it is fully patched.
- Use the latest version of the .NET framework and make sure it is fully patched.
Regards, Henk
