I don't quite understand the description of your reason for sending a message to the same number multiple times in one HTTP API call but at the moment this is not something that is possible with Diafaan SMS Server.

It is not difficult to add an option to the Web Connector to allow duplicate numbers. I will add this option to the list of requested features for the next version of Diafaan SMS Server.

Hello Henk,

Simply imagine we have a customer he want to send 2 sms to his number at beginning of the request and the end for testing to check the service how he can do that ?

Our back end we will read the user request which it will pass it to diafaan http api to send it .

We are passing our back end request as http api requests in this way : number1,number2,number3 and we forward it to diafaan software then the diafaan software will send the above request .

If we need to call the diafann request multi times as you said its mean we have to make a looping inside our numbers and send to diafann 1 by 1 request which it will slow everything .

currently our back end send 15 numbers to diafaan http api

what we should do for this ? as if no solution for this its mean we have loose our development time to integrate our system with diaffan.

please advise if there is a way to remove the filter even by some extra cost.

waiting your reply.

regards

Hello Adam,

The Web Connector removes duplicate numbers before sending the message, both for messages that are sent with the HTTP API and for messages that are sent with the browser application. There is no option in the Web Connector to turn this filter off. If you want to send the same message more than once to the same number you can submit the HTTP API call multiple times.

Out of curiosity, is there a specific reason why you want to send the message multiple times to the same number?

Regards, Henk

Hello Henk

This is Adam ,

we have notice something that when we are typing the destination number example 2 or 3 times ..etc the HTTP API only sending the 1 SMS and also we are getting the 1 submission ID for example:

http://localhost:9710/http/send-message?username=adam&password=adam&to=60111111111,60111111111,60111111111&message=messages&ip_number=127.0.0.1&from=&message-type=smpp&gateway=Emulator+Gateway

The result only OK: f4f39691-2872-4a2f-b98d-a785aaf3d54e , other 2 numbers been ignored !, or like its removing the duplicate numbers!?

Please can you advise about that is it bug in the software or there is any settings we have to set ?

waiting your reply ASAP.

Regards

Adam
