The functionality to add numbers from newly received SMS messages to a contact list is not built-in to Diafaan SMS Server. It is possible to implement it with a Scripting Connector but if the application gets more complicated it is probably better to implement it in a separate Visual Basic application, at least in the development phase.

In the last scenario, the Diafaan SMS Server implementation is straightforward. Received messages are dropped in the MessageIn table of the Microsoft SQL database, your application reads the received messages from the database, processes them and drops the replies into the MessageOut table for Diafaan SMS Server to send.

Regards, Henk

Dear sir,
i tested your system and found its satisfy my business, but i need some explanation to execute my scenario as below:
1- received sms from smpp gateway.
2- interrupter the sms contents.
3- use the received sms either to create new row in my contact table, or search about suitable contact in contact table.
4- if search result performs the query results will be send again to sender.
5- if create request is requested, new row will be added in my contact table.
iam using MS Sql with visual basic script.
Could you please guide me how to do this scenario.
Thank you in advance for your assistant.
best regards
