Yes, that is normal. The web interface has no option to choose a specific GSM modem to send the message. It just follows the routing settings in the 'Gateways' settings of the Web Connector.

The main software is working well with both sending and receiving SMS.
However, is it normal that the "Send message" feature on the Web interface doesn't have an option to choose a specific GSM modem to send the SMS?

Hello Lawrance,

After you add all the gateways in the 'Gateways' settings of the Web Connector they should all be available for both sending and receiving SMS messages. Diafaan SMS Server uses a round robin schedule to distribute the new messages over all available GSM modems. In the web interface of Diafaan SMS Server there is no option to choose the GSM modem(s) that will send the message.

If this does not happen in your system then there might be an issue with the configuration, I would like to see the configuration file of Diafaan SMS Server (menu options 'File-Export-Configuration'). You can send the file to email address dms@diafaan.com.

Regards, Henk

Hello Diafaan team,

I have the full edition of the Diafaan SMS Server software. I added 5 gateways corresponding to 5 GSM modems, and all of them are working well, sending and receiving SMS without any issue.

However, the only problem is that when I open the Web interface server (Web Connector) and add all the gateways to this Web Connector, it seems that I can only Receive SMS from these gateways. The "Send Message" feature on the web currently only sends SMS from the first added gateway and there is no option to choose which gateway to send new SMS from.

I am writing to ask how to enable the feature that allows choosing which gateway to send SMS from.

I'd really appreciate it.
