You can change the default sender ID in the settings of the SMPP Gateway, it is labeled as 'Default source address' in the SMPP Gateway settings. Your SMPP provider can tell you which sender ID is allowed for your account.
If your provider allows multiple sender IDs, you can list them all in the 'ApprovedSourceAddressList' property in the advanced settings of the SMPP Gateway.
The sender ID is the sender number (or alphanumeric sender text) that the receiver of the SMS message sees on the phone.
