Status error 301 means that the message was accepted by the GSM operator but the GSM modem received a status error update later, in this case the error is 67, Not obtainable.
Status errors occur when the GSM network is not able to deliver the message to the mobile phone, for instance when the mobile phone is out of reach of the network or when the destination number is invalid.
The explanation for error 67 is "Not obtainable" but I am not sure what this error means. It could be that the destination number is invalid or that the destination number cannot be reached because it is in a different GSM network. The error is generated by the SMS Central and different GSM operators might use different error codes for the same errors.
I'm getting the following error on a few of the outgoing messages:
Status: 301: Status error received after the message was accepted by the GSM operator.
Error: 67: pduData.TPStatus.Perm.Not.Obtainable
The message is marked as failed.
What does this error mean?
