Thanks for your help and suggestions.
It looks like we'd be better off with industrial GSM modem than relying on a wireless connection.
Tom
Thank you for the log and configuration files.
The event log shows a lot of connection problems with the Android phone. The most likely explanation for connection problems to Android phones is that the WiFi connection is switched off when the phone goes in a low power mode. But there could also be other explanations for the connection problems.
I have made some tests using your configuration file with two Android phones and an SQL Connector but was not able to replicate the problem you describe. When I disconnect the WiFi signal of the modems it also generates the 'No gateway available' error after 5 minutes (as it should do). But when WiFi is enabled again the messages from the SQL Connector are sent normally again.
If the WiFi connection is really the problem then setting the WiFi on the modem to always on will possibly solve the problem.

Hello Tom,
The error "No gateway available" indicates that the connector, in your case the SQL Connector, does not have a route to a gateway available to send the messages. There can be a number of reasons for this error, usually the event log in Diafaan SMS Server will have an error or warning about the root cause of the problem.
I am not able to provide much support in the trial period of Diafaan SMS Server but if you send the configuration file (menu options 'File-Export-Configuration') and the event log file (menu options 'File-Export-Event log') of Diafaan SMS Server to dms@diafaan.com I will have a look to see if I can see what the problem might be.

Hi,
we are currently using trial version of SMS Server with an older Android phone as GSM gateway and SQL Server connector.
We send messages by writing them directly into database table from a script. Everything works great in the beginning, messages are being sent and received. About 5 minutes after setting up gateway (or restarting it) not a single one messages can be send. Status text in MessageLog table is returning "Error: No gateway available" and StatusCode is "300". Gateway doesn't appear offline, its status is "Ready to send and receive" in Console.
Sending message from SMS Server Console is possible all the time. There is no problem. I don't really understand where can be a problem.
Would anyone be able to help us out please?
Thank you in advance for your help.
