With the basic- and full edition of Diafaan SMS Server it is possible to send messages to both SMS and email. However, the email support in Diafaan SMS Server is limited. It is only possible to send short messages (comparable to SMS) to email, extended information like headers and attachments are stripped from the email by Diafaan SMS Server.
Email functionality in Diafaan SMS Server is available in the Paging Gateway. You can set up two gateways, a GSM Modem Gateway for the SMS messages and a Paging Gateway for the email message. In the 'Gateways' page of the Email Connector properties you can add the routing information to make sure that the email addresses are routed to the Paging gateway and the phone numbers are routed to the GSM Modem Gateway.

Hi,
i'm starting to test Diafaan SMS Server with an email connector. I did a test using email2sms functionality. To do this i use a list of email address (myname@mydomain.com, +56423234567@sms.com). How expected i received a sms in my phone number (+56423234567). I want too receive an e-mail on myname@mydomain.com.... Is this posssible?, or email connector only use the address containing the phone number?.
