Hello Tanvir,
The 'ReportCallerId' functionality is not available in the Android GSM Modem Emulator app, it will only work with GSM modems that support this option. The Android GSM Modem Emulator app can only be used to send and receive basic SMS messages, options like USSD, caller ID reporting and full support for binary messages are not available with the app.

Hi Henk,
I am in the same situation however i don;t need to make a call i just need to collect the cli's. I have enabled the option 'ReportCallerId' as you suggested but still not getting anything in the Received SMS section or via request-received-messages method.
Is there another way i can collect them? bare in mind that i am using android based gsm modem.
Kind regards
Tanvir
Hello Igor,
Diafaan SMS Server does not have an option to answer phone calls, it only supports SMS and USSD.
The GSM Modem Gateway has a 'ReportCallerId' option in the advanced settings of the GSM Modem Gateway properties that instructs Diafaan SMS Server to collect the caller ID's and convert them to a received SMS message with message type 'gsm.cli'. You can use this function to collect the numbers of the people that try to make a phone call to your modem.
Regards, Henk
