Hello Pascal,
You can try to set the 'FlowControl' property in the 'Advanced' settings of the GSM Modem Gateway to another value. Decreasing the baudrate of the serial port in the 'GSM modem' settings might also help.
If changing these properties does not solve the problem then there is not much else you can try in Diafaan SMS Server to get rid of this error.

Setup 1:
Diafaan Light on a Hardware machine.
USB to COM – MOXA Uport 1100
GSM Modem – MOXA Oncel G2111
Everything is working fine.
Setup 2:
Diafaan Light on a VMware® Workstation 12 Player (12.1.1 build-3770994).
USB to COM – MOXA Uport 1100
GSM Modem – MOXA Oncel G2111
Troubles with the connection to the GSM modem (see Log file).
