No, only messages submitted by the SQL Connector can be logged to an SQL database. You can use the Web Connector API to request the status of previously sent messages and use that to log the message send result in a database. But this is something that has to be done by the program or script that uses the Web Connector API.
Sorry that i ask another question,
i have a web connector ( the application from i want to send message using this connector ), can i log the SMS sending logs to an sql database?
Thank you for your answer.
At the moment that is the only way to implement failover support with Diafaan SMS Server.
We are looking at clustering and failover support for a future version but nothing has been decided yet.
Thank you for your reply.
So basically the best deployment would be if my goal is high availability, that i have two diafaan server with identical configuration, and using a DNS record to load balance the users requests?
Is there some hope for HA feature in for example the next major release? 🙂
Diafaan SMS Server has no built-in support for clusters or automatic takeover when the computer where it's running on fails.
There is an option to send e-mail reports when an error occurs in the program, when an SMS gateway generates an error for instance. It is also possible to access the send and receive statistics with an HTTP call using the Web Connector. (See HTTP API for information on the HTTP API calls).
Is there a way to use Diafaan in a cluster deployment?
Is there some kind of reporting function in the application?
