Hello Michal,

This error indicates that the connection to the SMPP server was closed, either by the SMPP server itself or somewhere else in the network. There are no built-in limits to the number of SMPP connections in Diafaan SMS Server, Windows might have some constraints but it is unlikely that 40 connections triggers a Windows limitation.

If you are using multiple SMPP Gateway connections to the same SMPP server then you should check if the SMPP service supports the number of connections you are trying to set up. Sometimes an SMPP service will close older connections when it detects that too many connections are open from the same source or with the same logon credentials.

Another possibility, but something that is harder to check, is that there is a firewall or other security measure active between your server and the SMPP server(s). If a firewall detects that too many connections are originating from one source then it might conclude that the server is compromised and close the connections.

Regards, Henk

Hi, we are in kind of emergency.
Are there any constraints for possible diafaan connections. We had arround 40 connections opened, but even if I cut it down, disable gateway connection in diafaan, and even user in physical SMPP/GSM gateway - the problem persists.
Software is running on enterprise grade server with SSD. We havent had this problem till today (we started to use all of these connections extensively this week, there were less before).

Thank you very much for your help.
