If you can be satisfied with a maximum message length of 160 characters (or 70 Unicode characters) you can set the 'MaxMessageParts' property in the advanced settings of the SMPP Gateway to '1'.
I don't have a GoIP gateway available for testing so I can't say if the 160 character limit is a hard limit of the GoIP gateway or if there is a setting in Diafaan SMS Server or in the GoIP gateway that would solve this problem.
If 'MessageOutHandling' is set to 'Submit_SM' then Diafaan SMS Server splits long messages in multiple parts with the appropriate User Data Headers before sending them to the SMPP Server in multiple parts. This should work with all SMPP server. If it is set to 'Submit_SM_UsePayLoadTlv' Diafaan SMS Server sends the whole message in an extended TLV field and the SMPP server is responsible for splitting the message in multiple parts. The latter option is not always supported by the SMPP server.
I am trying your server now to check if i can work with it then will buy the full version .
Testing with GOIP device using SMPP any short messages working properly
any concatenated more than 160 the sms is not even received not cut to 160 nothing received
After playing with options there for the Gateway changing "MessageOutHandling" to "Submit_SM_UsePayloadTlv" i receive the SMS on my mobile but no content at all
any suggestions ?
