Well, Henk, I be damned,

I tested it with = sign in front of our caller id and without before and it didn't go. Now, today when I tried it with = sign, I got an error and when I tried without, it started to work just fine. I can also see in the log that the ID is being sent.

Thanks for your help though.

Mike

If you have set the sender number in the 'DefaultFrom' property, it should send it as the from address for all messages. When I look at your HTTP query example, this should be enough to get it to work.

Can you post the log record from the send log for one of the failed messages? You can copy a send log record to the Windows clipboard if you right-click on the log record and select 'Export to file'. (I'll remove the information before making the post public).

Just to add an explanation, any user in the US has to have a long number, basically showing where the sms comes from. Therefore, I have to send this number with every text. My From Field is already populated with this number and I still get an error.

Hi Henk,

No matter where I put this number, ClickaTell says they don't receive the long number, which is my local number in the US. Therefore they can't rout it.

When I ran the test, it went so smoothly that I thought, wow, how easy can this be. But now they are saying well, we didn't develop that, so go talk to them, being you.

They say they need the info as follows: https://api.clickatell.com/http/sendmsg?user=XXXXX&password=XXXXX&api_id=XXXXX&from=XXXXX&mo=1&to=XXXXX&text=XXXX

No matter where I put the info, it keeps giving me an error.
Thanks,

Mike

Hello Mike,

You can set the 'mo=1' parameter in the 'HttpParameters' property in the advanced settings of the Clickatell Gateway properties.

In am not sure what Clickatell means with the 'long-number'. If they mean the source address then you can set this number in the 'DefaultFrom' property. But if they refer to another HTTP parameter then you can add this after the 'mo=1' parameter. For instance, if you have to add the (non-existing) parameter 'long-number' with value '1513xxxxxxx', you should set the 'HttpParameters' property to 'mo=1&long-number=1513xxxxxxx'.

Hi Henk,

We purchased the ClickATell service as a backup. Of course the tests when as smooth as possible. Now that I purchased the service, they are telling me that I have to enter the long-number and MO=1.

So, I entered =1513xxxxxxx$MO=1 into HttpParapmeters field,

I keep getting,
Status: 301: Error: Status error received after the message was accepted by the Clickatell gateway.
Error: 9: The routing gateway or network has had an error routing the message.
Message: Testing second time

Can you please help with this?
Thanks,
