Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the sender number when you send the messages with a GSM modem. The sender ID is always the phone number connected with the SIM card.

The only way to send messages with a specific numeric or alphanumeric sender ID is if you send the messages with an online SMS provider like Clickatell or an SMPP SMS provider.

Hi,

We are currently on trial to use your gateway and it's great. We currently are using two USB modem to send and receive messages. Look like the problem with only one modem can receive at a time is fixed in the new version. I'm just wondering if we can change the Send number in all messages to make them look like from one number so that our customer will not be confused and if they reply, we can have one dedicated modem to receive only which will help to speed up the system.
