HI,
THANKS FOR THIS GREAT FEATURE ..
CAN I SET THE ROUTE AS BELOW :
SIM1;SIM2|SIM3
SO THE SYSTEM WILL LOAD BALANCE THE MESSAGES BETWEEN SIM1 & SIM2 ... IF ALL FAILED ... SMS WILL GO WITH BACKUP SIM3 ?
Hello Ali,
There is nothing to configure, this feature works automatically in Diafaan SMS Server 3.1.0.0 or later. You can find more information in the Message specific routing using the Gateway field section of the Routing Options topic in the online manual.
In previous versions of Diafaan SMS Server you could limit the gateways that were allowed to send a specific message with the 'Gateway' field of the SQL database or the HTTP API call, but the assignment of the primary and backup gateways would always be kept intact.
In the new version, you can use the '|' character in the 'Gateway' field to change the primary/backup assignment of the gateways. All the gateway names before the '|' become primary gateways for the message and the gateway names after the '|' become backup gateways.
For instance, when you set the message routing from SQL Connector to three primary gateways: 'SIM1', 'SIM2' and 'SIM3', you can set the gateway field to 'SIM1|SIM3' to allow routing for this message only via 'SIM1' and 'SIM3' where 'SIM1' is the primary gateway and 'SIM3' is the backup gateway.
Regards, Henk
