Diafaan SMS Server does not have an option to trigger an event or a script when a SIM card is changed. But it is possible to use the HTTP API to retrieve an XML document with the settings of Diafaan SMS Server:
http://localhost:9710/http/request-server-status?username=admin&password=password
This XML document shows the phone number of the SIM card in the data in the GSM Modem Gateway settings. The phone number is refreshed each time the gateway is re-started.

Hi Henk, thank you for your answer.
But when the number is stored on the SIM card, is it possible to get the number with scripting connector or something like this?
I just want to connect a new SIM card and then a new db entry should be created. When I open the Diafaan tool I see the modem on COM3 for example. Then I need to wait few seconds and then I see the number of the SIM card there. But I want, that my C# tool listen on these ports over your tool. I just want to know it, when the sim card number change on a specific port. Or do you think it will make more sense to write my own tool for this specific task? But I dont think its that easy, so it would be better, when I can use your tool. But if its not possible, please say so... then I need to go the hard way I think.
Hello Swip,
Diafaan SMS Server can only get the phone number of the SIM card if it is stored on the SIM card. But even if the number is stored on the SIM card, Diafaan SMS Server does not have a feature to store the number in a database when a new SIM is added.

Hello,
is it possible to automatically get the number of the sim card I add to my gsm gateway? I want to add a sim card and the server should add a db entry with the corresponding number. I read that some cards store the number, but not all. Another way would be to execute a gsm command to get the number, like *#62#. But is it possible to automate both things, so when I add another card to the gateway, that I will have a new db entry?
I want to use a gsm module with the sql connection.
Thank you very much.
